We at Toward Freedom will be there, to report on these stories of hope and alternatives that the corporate media ignores.

Our commitment to stories that serve the interest of the people – not domineering governments and selfish corporations – is the same commitment that led writer John Lasker to write a Toward Freedom article about the sexual violence against women within the ranks of the US military. That article won a Project Censored Award this year for uncovering a story that no one else was reporting on.
